Every year thousands of mobulas congregate in the Gulf of California in one of the largest migrations in the world. An impressive event as they let us see their acrobatics as they jump out of the water. This migration occurs from April to July near a fishing village so take a seat and get ready for this spectacle.
Barefoot accompanies you to live unforgettable moments, while we are in open water the team will be on the lookout for sea lions, dolphin pods, whales to mention a few of the more than 300 species of animals that we can observe.

Let yourself be impressed while snorkeling with one or even a thousand mobulas. Our guide and captain will be attentive to observe a spot in the water from which these flying rays will jump and spin around. This is the right moment to get into the water and be mesmerized by these incredible animals.

May the only thing that remains are our footprints. The scenic beauty is maintained because it is a collective effort of all of us who visit Baja California Sur.
We recommend you to bring your thermos or a reusable container, at Barefoot we are aware of the importance of taking care of our seas and the environment.

Feel completely safe and just worry about not missing any detail underwater, swimin with the mobulas is a completely
safe activity, plus you'll be always accompanied by your guide!
Can I participate if I have never snorkeled before?
Of course you can. Our guides can give you a quick lesson on how to use the equipment and take you to the best spots.
Do you include snorkeling gear?
That's right! We provide you snorkel gear that includes fins, mask, snorkel and life best. Feel free to bring your personal equipment.
